The father loved his two children very much. It wasn’t easy taking care of two kids…life was tough. There were many times when he made sacrifices for his children. He often went hungry so they could eat. Other times, he chose to get new clothes for the children when his own clothes needed to be replaced…and so it went…he gave and gave. As time went by, the children did what all children do…they grew up. In the end, he gave the ultimate gift…he gave his very life so that his children might live.
One of the children, whose name was Alpha, had become very critical of her father. Alpha had a friend, who said that Alpha’s father didn’t like her. When Alpha became old enough, she left home. Alpha and her friend felt that the father was foolish, and that the things the father taught his children had little value…they felt the father was stupid, and that they were much smarter.
The name of the other child was Omega. Omega and his father often had long talks, and Omega valued the father’s wisdom. Sometimes, Omega ignored the father’s advice and got into trouble…which hurt the father. However, when this happened Omega would go to his father and ask for his forgiveness, and the bond that had been broken was restored.
Time passed, and the two children died and they found themselves in the next life. They were in a large courtroom. The judge came in wearing a great white robe that shown like the sun. Alpha and Omega were astonished when they realized that the judge was their father. In fact, he was the father of all of the children ever born…and he was the creator of all things in heaven and earth.
Omega was in a small group of people who were overjoyed to see their father who they loved. Alpha was in a much larger group of people, some who were angry at their father and cursed him. Others in Alpha’s group cowered and were afraid because of what they had said and done.
The father judged all things done by all of his children so that each knew what they had done right and wrong. He then welcomed into heaven each of his children who had loved him. They were overjoyed by their father’s love and were awed by what He had prepared for them in His heavenly kingdom. Heaven was filled with joy and happiness. The father’s love was everywhere…it surrounded his children and healed their broken bodies and hearts. The father and his children were reunited, and the father’s love joined everyone together.
When the last child from the small group had entered into heaven the father closed the gates, and there was a deafening noise that echoed throughout the universe as the father began walking away. Many people in the large group cried out… father we are your children too… don’t leave us. With a sad sigh, the father turned and responded. I’m sorry, but I don’t know you. However, soon there will be someone who does know you. As the father left them in the darkness, there was a great silence.
Soon , far off in the distance the sound of laughter could be heard, and as it got closer it kept getting louder… and louder… and soon the laughter was so loud it was like a white hot fluid that was being injected into their brains. The pain was excruciating…unbearable. Then there was another great silence. The people didn’t know which was worse…the laughter or the silence. However, the laughter had a disturbingly familiar ring to it…suddenly there he was…their friend, and he was laughing at them.
He said, come to me my little fools, I know you, and I have prepared a place for you far from your father whose love you refused. Laughing at them, he said, you thought you were so smart when you listened to my lies. I tricked you so easily… you were so stupid… and he laughed again…a deep, dark laughter that pierced them. Don’t you remember your father telling you about me and warning you to be careful… and he laughed that raucous, coarse laugh again.
His words cut them like a knife made of fire… and, the acrid smell of their flesh being burned nauseated and sickened them. With uncontrollable laughter that burned their minds and souls, their friend reminded them of another of their father’s warnings… ”Satan is the father of lies.” The remembrance caused them to feel as if boiling water was being poured over their bodies blistering their skin and melting their eyes.
Alpha and the other people cried out, why are you doing this? Why are you being so cruel? We thought you were our friend. It’s simple, my little pigs. Your father is all powerful, and it is impossible for me to hurt him. Although if I had the chance, I would disembowel him and cut out His beating heart. Of course, I don’t have a heart and his sickening laughter erupted from his mouth bringing with it a terrible stench.
However, since that is not possible, I will hurt the ones he loves. That’s you my little swine. Being called little pigs and swine was unnerving and Alpha and the other people felt a chill as they realized that they were going to be butchered. What they didn’t know was that they would be butchered and molested and burned over and over again in a thousand different ways… forever… and ever… and ever. The laughter… that damned laughter was everywhere… echoing… reverberating… above and below… to the right and to the left…in front and in back… it was everywhere.
