She Was So Hot! (PG 13)

By: John Silva – March 2008

She was so beautiful it hurt.  Her skin glistened, and it was drawn tautly over her delicious body.  Her muscles rippled with such sensuality that his heart pounded like a colossal herd of rampaging elephants.  From her beautiful thighs to her pixie nose, she was an awesome beauty.  He had never seen a female move with such grace and elegance.

He could feel her heat.  His entire body was being aroused by a force as old as the earth.  When their eyes met for that searing second, an electrical shock surged through him so savagely it bludgeoned his senses.  She was so hot, and he wanted her…NOW!  Over the years, they both had had many lovers… sometimes several a day.  Without warning, he lunged at her.  His charge was rough and menacing.

With her body quivering and fire burning in her eyes, she ignited.  The dance began…that most ancient dance of sky and fire and earth.  The primordial force pulsated and reverberated through their bodies.  A torrid consuming desire drove them.  His blood was a white-hot liquid.  His lust and uncontrolled passion were melting his brain.  He advanced.  She retreated.  He retreated.  She advanced.

They continued to circle each other…she was provoking him with her decadent moves and her suggestive and wanton glances.  And, then, it happened.  Their eyes locked, jarring their senses causing their bodies to shudder and tremble.

Now, he thought…Now!  With lighting speed and the force of a runaway freight train, he rushed her.  She made a mock attempt at fleeing, but he was on her…thrusting.  Their passion erupted in a cacophony of primeval explosions and then it was over.  They disengaged, turned around and walked away.  With their passion exhausted, their thoughts turned to rest and food and in time future conquests.

At first, it was hard to isolate and identify.  It was like a malaise that would come and go.  Then his listlessness became the norm…engulfing him.  His energy was gone.  Soon, the sores and bleeding started.  He was so sick of being so sick.  He wished death would come and end his suffering.  He was slowly dying of AIDS.

And, he was not alone in his plight.  Unnoticed at first, it had started as a trickle… just a few deaths here and there.  Now it was a torrent…a monstrous gargantuan typhoon…a tsunami killing hundreds of thousands with wave after wave of death, putrefaction, and decay.  There were dead bodies everywhere.  Disease and misery walked hand in hand encircling the planet.  In the end they all died.  The strong ones and the weak ones…the males and the females…the ugly ones and the beautiful ones…they all died…every one of them.

His paleontology students were mesmerized.  With his blue eyes blazing and his white hair flying and his face full of passion, the mischievous professor had just presented his theory as to how the dinosaurs had become extinct.  He had blind-sided everyone.  He had seized their attention and bound them with his erotic oratory.  His ability to capture the imagination of his listeners was legendary.

Was it possible that the extinction of the dinosaurs wasn’t the result of an immense comet or meteor smashing into the earth… creating a gigantic cloud of choking ash that encircled the planet?  Maybe it wasn’t a worldwide ice age that ended the dinosaurs dominance of the Mesozoic Era.  Perhaps it wasn’t a wiggle of the earth’s axis, or a possible quirk of evolutionthat caused the extinction of these enormous creatures.

Could it be that these leviathans were actually killed by a microscopic life force.  Could a virus, without the benefit of teeth or brain, be responsible for ending the one hundred and sixty five million year rule of the dinosaurs?  Without malice or thought, could a sexually transmitted disease have caused the destruction of these colossal creatures that literally shook the earth with every step that they took?

As it is, so shall it be!  Adieu, T Rex…Adieu.
