A primordial language

He touches the back of her hand. He is testing to see if she will allow him to proceed. She nods her head which indicates she wants him to continue. She likes it that she was selected… It makes her feel special. She may be thinking, this could be the start of something big… or, of all of the females in the world he chose me… or, is he a jerk or a loser?… let’s wait and see… or, if she takes her hand away… game over!
She touches the back of his hand: He feels she is saying: I want you to know, I am interested in you, and I would accept a response if you are interested in me.
He touches her forearm: He is exploring what is acceptable and what’s not. By letting him touch her forearm, she is saying it is OK to proceed.
Her touching his forearm is saying I want to know you better.
Him touching her upper arm: He feels her acceptance and wants her to know he is interested in more physical touching.
Her touching his upper arm: She is letting him know she accepts his interest and she also is interested in more physical touching.
Him touching her lower and upper back, shoulders, and neck is an indication of desire and advancing the relationship.
By touching his lower and upper back, shoulders, and neck she is sending a message which has a positive effect on his ego, and she is telling him she also desires to broaden the relationship.
By touching her lower and upper back, shoulders, and neck with hugs is sending a message he is feeling a strong physical attraction to her.
By touching his bare lower and upper back, shoulders, and neck by hugging or giving a message she feels he is accepting her as an equal in the relationship, and she is telling him she also desires to broaden the relationship.
